The way to rid the country of the already illegal immigrants is to make it economically unviable to employ them.
First, block off the border. Check with most folks in the Guard or Reserve. You will find that many of them would be willing to spend an extra 2 weeks a year on annual tour to pull a shift of guard duty on a well fenced and secured border to help defend this country.
Second, go after the employers. If they are hiring illegals it is a good bet that they are not paying the employers share of the Social Security payroll tax on those employees.
If the state they are working in has a state income tax I would be willing to bet that that state is not being paid the income tax monies owed. Ditto the workmans compensation insurance payments.
Each of those is against the law in the various states and the full penalties should be enacted of those found employing illegal aliens.
In addition we can make the employer pay the costs of housing (i.e. jailing) the illegal immigrant until such time as they are deported.
Keep in mind this would probably not mean pick up on Monday, tried on Wednesday or Thursday and sent home on Friday. With the current system of hearings and procedures the illegal alien could be here for several more months while their case proceeded through the immigration courts, etc.
BTW, we can't send them back immediately in any case, we need them as material witnesses for the prosecution of the non-payment of Social Security payroll taxes, violation of labor laws and everything else we are going to be prosecuting the employer for. . .
Before we send the illegal immigrant back to their country of origin we take a very thorough series of biometrics up to and including DNA. We then make it a routine part of the check of an illegal to compare against the database of those who have been sent back before.
The first time we send you back. The second time we add in some jail time, maybe with time spent reinforcing or building the new fence along both borders.
This is an incredibly important issue. There are about 11 million illegal immigrants in this country. That is enough to start a large state in this country. There are groups that stated that they should take portions of the country over and make it "again" part of Mexico. NO! I say it is simple, if you came here illegally, you are going home. You may ask how, but it is easy, although you don't have the spin to do it people.
1. Secure the Border by ANY means necessary.
2. Stiff employer penalties, and the teeth to back it up.
3. No TAXPAYER services for illegals or their families. This would include public education
4. No Anchor Babies! If the Mother is just passing threw, or here illegally, the child is a citizen of the parent’s homeland.
5. No path to citizenship
There you have it, and it will work. It is mean, but it will work.
