Actually they are right. it is no ones business to know what they earn provided it is earned legally.
What we need is less corrupt legislators. Perhaps harsh mandatory prison sentences plus the permanent loss of all government pensions will keep State legislators and civil servants honest. Particularly if the charges once filed, cannot be plea bargained for lesser charges.
