Gravatar We went -- it's a twist on time-shares (which I like). Way pricey and mostly for people who can manage to take lots of time off. The worst part was the set up and come on . . . Free gift is not free as we all know. Best part about the "gift" is you must up-front $75 to use it, make your payment w/in 21 days of visit and may ask no questions until up front $$$ is paid. I'm happy to provide the full copy of the "gift" if you like. Using the gas coupons will be a challenge, but I'm going to do it, just to tick them off. Thanks for your imput.

Andy

Gravatar Got the postcard today and thought I'd do a little research first. Thanks for the information. I think I'll be putting it where it belongs now -- the recycle bin.

Gravatar I received a letter from Global Vacations saying since my birthday is coming up(which it is), they will give me two round trip airline tickets to any major international airport in the continental USA, and if I replied within 72 hrs. they would also throw in a free rent-a-car for 7 days. They sent me a fake bording pass that has my name, frequent flyer # WINGS7002708 and an E-TICKET # WINGS6972***2, SEAT 07-C, FLIGHT WINGSF333, DEPARTS: USA, ARRIVES:USA
I'm sure that this is some type of scam. If they will actually fly two people to anywhere in the US roundtrip, and give you a free rental car for 7 days, then you probably have to stay at one of their grossly overpriced hotels, or condos, etc.
I may give them a call(I haven't decided yet, but you don't get anything in this world for free).
Thanks for reading, if U have any info about this company, please feel free to email me.
Florida Native

Gravatar This is Florida Native. I left the above message. If you have any info about this place please email me at palmbeach2008@hushmail.com

Gravatar D'oh! I knew it was too good to be true. I got the same "birthday deal" - my "boarding pass" even shows me in the same seat, so I hope the Florida Native above doesn't mind sitting on my lap...

Beautiful piece of marketing, I'll give them that.

Gravatar I got the same card, called they said you have to pay the tax on the airline ticket, so I asked if the tax was based on the lowest published fare, they were unable to answer! I asked of the rental car, they stated I would be required to pay a $75.00 refundable deposit, however I can upgrade the car is a compact- to which I replied current events dictate a sub-compact!
