Gravatar Masochist: Let me enlighten you on the Belle Glade issue you've raised. There is nothing wrong with taxpayer resources being allocated toward combating a frivolous re-call petition against a good Mayor and Vice-Mayor, especially in this case wherein a number of "election losers" have the green-apple blues from eating too many sour election grapes. Functionally (and in my opinion), the office of the Supervisor of Elections is being used as a political weapon which forces Supervisor Anderson to either do the right thing and reject the petition for lack of merit as provided for within State Statutes, or he can "look away from the lack of requisite evidence normally associated with warranting a recall election" and allow the re-call to proceed forward (which by the way would be costly to Belle Glade). If Mr. Anderson does the later, then he and Belle Glade lose-big-time as to me, Belle Glade's history reveals in my eyes, ex-Mayor Steve Wilson was a problematic Commission member who led the city down the problematic road it again now travels. I opine Wilson did nothing for Belle Glade during his previous terms, and if he and his wanna-be-politicos do happen to prevail, all Wilson will do is bring the city down into a state of chaos.
I think therapy, and lots of it, are in order for the Wilson sore-losers.
