Got some candidates for Knucklehead of the Day for you--Meaghan Francella's hometown newspaper sports writers during the HSBC. They complained the tournament stopped being interesting when Hjorth knocked Francella out and called the final 4 "starless." Nothing against Francella, who's as tough as they come--winning matches she had no business winning given how much her rib muscle was bothering her--but at best she's #5 in the Class of 2006, well behind Morgan Pressel, Seon Hwa Lee, Ai Miyazato, and Jee Young Lee, each of whom is a legitimate threat to win every tournament they enter.
