Yes they went major "stupid" on the girl. However, the rules are rules. If Dad wanted her to slice her steak it should have been done at home. What's the big deal with that? Nothing of course. He just had no idea that his simple, everyday thought of putting the knife in for her was just plain overdone by the asshole NEA robots.
