Gravatar Only now?
I know quite a few people that have been ranting about it for the last 20 years, myself included.

Gravatar "This nation allowed 12 million illegals to enter. Why is it only now people feel a dire need to deal with the issue?"

Several points:

1.) With the Mass Media Podpeople's Hivemind firmly fixed on legitimizing alien invaders, the vast mind-weashed sheeple that have been bred by years of mass Media Podpeople propaganda, pubschool ("prisons for kids") miseducation and politicians *spit* lying through their teeth, I'm surprised that there are any folk left at all who have any concept that once a country surrenders its sovreignty and cedes its borders, it's moribund.

2. Nevertheless, despite the gargantuan efforts at propaganda, as Perri notes, some folks have been steadfastly warning of the danger.

It's not "just now".

Anyone who wants to enter this country legally should have a good, honest shot at it, IMO.

Anyone who wants to enter this country illegally, should have a good honest shot. One that stops them before they manage to enter. One way or another.

My wife's grandparents were the last of our family to be fresh-off-the-boat immigrants. I'm very glad they came to America. Legally.

And became Americans, not Hyphenated-Americans with allegiances elsewhere.
