If history has any lesson at all for us, "another people's revolution" in Russia will net the same end result as the last couple. (Or is that three? Let's see, the "popular" uprising against the tsar--really an upper and middle class revolt--then the communist "people's" takeover of that revolution, then the "Yeltsin" mini-faux-"revolution"--all w/in the last 100 years. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose, eh?)

Reminds me of changes w/in another geopolitical fiction: Iraq. *sigh*
