You're right on about Crist's chances of VP nomination. That gay rumor, as you well know, was circulating in 2006 but it didn't hurt him with Republicans here. It wasn't a resume enhancement either. I willingly voted for him; and if he had been outed as gay, would not have changed my vote. I won't (knowingly) vote for a freak, but an adult normal gay politician is just another person we need to evaluate his qualifications to lead. Straight or gay doesn't enter into it.
