I've already migrated to Wordpress, which I enjoy much more than Blogger. But until my WP blog has some age and clout, I'm also hanging with my New York Traveler blogspot blog.

I think that google will link to you still if you have a google account, ie, a gmail address. I'm on Typepad but have a gmail address and it lets me link to blogger blogs still....I think. But either way, it really is a pisser and Google's policies are the main reason I'm not on blogger.

Yea I tried Haloscan and lost all past comments so I reverted back. Haloscan does not address this and nobody has addressed my question about it on the Haloscan forum.

Really I do not want to lose commenters.

I notice you recommend Wordpress, is it hard or easy to migrate, what about my technorati ranks etc so many questions, Damn I cannot understand Google/Bloggers thinking!

I noticed this about 30 minutes ago when commenting on a few blogs. Reasons like this are why I just run my own and dont use services.
