Shawna, I would imagine it's probably pronounced "Sha-meen". I had a friend named Charmaine once so I kind of default to pronouncing it like Charmaine without the "r" and a more "e" sound at the end. Just my guess though. Wonder if she ever got teased about Charmin toilet paper?
