Vanessa must wear blinders. Nick has never treated her like he did Jessica. He was always proud to be seen with Jessica. He looked at her with pride. With Vanessa, he always looks unhappy and he's certainly not a gentleman. He never holds her hand. He still loves Jessica.
why does Nick waste his time with Vanessa? He looks miserable. Why doesn't he date around before settling down again? He's looking for happiness in all the wrong places. He's clearly not over Jessica yet and shouldn't be with anyone until he is.

Just because they're together, doesn't mean that he's ready to cavort around with her all the time holding her hand and kissing her. Jessica treat Nick like crap. He tried to be affectionate to her all the time and she acted like he had a contagious disease. Giggles, I don't think two people who were so deeply in love as Nick and Jessica can move on this quickly. Nick will end up resenting Vanessa because he will blame her for his not reconnecting with Jessica. He should have waited to see if Jessica would come back to him. I know she must be hurt even if she is dating someone else. There has to be a reason she divorced him so quickly. It really makes me sad to see them with someone new.
Nick will never go back to Jessica -if he did he would be a complete and utter moron. It's rumoured that she tried in vain to get him back the month of June -- called him incessantly especially when she found out that he went to Cabo with Vanessa.
