She's a great actress, but I didn't really like her in the black dahlia. She wasn't born with the pretty gene so I found her unconvincing as the femme fatale type.
The Black Dahlia was an awful movie anyway so I wouldn't knock her for that. She was in The Next Karate Kid...I don't remember her in 90210. She has come a long way with her acting skills. Not much on her looks but wouldn't say she's fugly.
