I have said this from the beginning, her career is over. If she aspired to be a "movie" star, well she blew that notion. She might get parts here and there, maybe even LifeTime Movies, but no big box office epics.

Isn't that descrimination? I mean, yea they are really weird and crazy but you can't descriminate someone because of their status with religion.
she should try guest appearances and co-star type roles

1:44 It's not discrimination if you are told that they gave the part to someone else that suited the role better. Also, they are probably not even sending her any scripts. There is no way that you can tell if Hollywood is discriminating or not.

Are you somekind of idiot or is this a joke? You can DISCRIMINATE against someone for any reason in Hollywood (or pretty much everywhere else in this country for that matter). It's not like she applied for Taco Bell & they told her no because she's hanging with the alien freaks.

The religion excuse is getting old, this is Hollywood, 'it's not personal, it's business.'
She was not asked back for the Batman sequel because:
1. She was the weakest in the ensemble cast and critics panned her performance.
2. She was unprofessional while doing the press junkets & premieres.
2a. Who says during an interview on national television that they'd see their boyfriend's movie over their own (which they're on the television program to promote).
3. The studio wants a stronger actress in the role. They're listening to movie critics & viewers.
Studios are not shelling out scripts because her actions have been unprofessional. She didn't even bother to do any press for Thank You For Smoking. She's tabloid fodder, and she's not a very good actress. She's known for her television role on Dawson's Creek and as Tom Cruise's wife, not for her movie roles.
Some sources are saying Diane Keaton has left the project Mad Money, and I hadn't read any sources that Katie had been confirmed for the part, her PR rep only said that she was 'in the process of negotiating for another project.'
MAybe she will get Rosie's chair when her ass is kicked of the View.
i can't stand weakness in a man or woman. If you don't have the backbone to say, these are movies roles I want to go after or I like this style of clothing so I'm wearing it...you shouldn't be raising a daughter. The world doesn't need anymore weaklings.
stickaforkiner, I agree 100% Weakness is disgusting. Katie only projects confusion, dependence, and lack of self confidence--in other words weakness. I hardly consider her a human being to be frank.

On one side, you got all these reports that Jennifer Lopez is trying to join Scientology to get more work in Hollywood (she isn't, BTW.)
On the other side, this whole rumor as to how being a Scientologist is hurting Holmes' career.
It's either one or the other, people. (Neither, actually.)
Holmes just turned down a role in the sequel to "Batman Begins" - a 2 million part. So she can't be that desperate. Oh, and she's currently filming a movie, which is odd for someone who "can't get work."
