Well do you notice that HEidi and Lauren are never out in the media together anymore either? they must really not be that good of friends anymore...you don't choose men over your girlfriends!
Lauren said she and Heidi don't really "hang out" anymore. They're still friends but it's not the same. I think Lauren handled herself quite well with the whole situation. If there is indeed going to be a season 3 of The Hills, Heidi will re-emerge. I've always felt Heidi's friendship with Lauren has been about getting her 15 minutes of fame.

I thought it was pretty funny that Spencer actually told Brody that the reason he wanted to move in with Heidi was just so she wouldn't be living with Lauren anymore. I wonder how Heidi feels about all of this now that she saw everything on the show. He completely proved Lauren's point.
I do love Lauren, but she is a big brat. You dont stop talking to your "best friend" because you dont like her boyfriend. Gimme a break. She should grow up, be a bigger person & accept that Spencer is in Heidi's life. I never thought that WHitney was pretty, but last night she looks gorgeous.

Heidi was a big part of the Hills. Whether or not she and LAuren are BFF's, she still should have been on the finale show. I'm surprised Spencer and Brody didn't try to get on the MTV finale show- they are SUCH attention whores!

How is Lauren a brat? She knows that Spencer is a controlling person (proven by his comments about Heidi not living with Lauren). He has isolated Heidi from all of her friends. She was very easily manipulated by the tool and I think he knew she would be easy to brainwash. If anything, Spencer is the brat. Lauren said she was happy for Heidi, even if her tone was not happy (hello, she's losing a supposed friend!) and the reason they're not good friends anymore is because Heidi chose to hang out with Spencer only and never spend time with Lauren.
I agree, however Lauren is blaming everything on Spencer. Bottom line, Heidi has her own brain & Lauren should see that not everything is because of Spencer. Its Heidi.

If I remember correctly, all of last season Lauren was running around making mistakes with Jason, while Heidi was there to support her. Lauren made Heidi leave New Year's early, and then moved in with Jason for the summer. I like Lauren, but she's being a hypocrite.
The best quote of the entire season was from Audrina's friend, "Spencer is the ultimate cheese." He is a douchebag!!!

If you watched the show last night, you heard Lauren admit that she made her mistakes with Jason and now she is on the other side with Heidi's relationship with Spencer and she said she "learned from that". However, you can't keep a friendship going if only one person participates. Spencer is totally using Heidi - her latest gig was a sexually provacative photo shoot a magazine. He's her manager way before he's her "boyfriend".
Spencer is a tard/tool...and screw dumb lil' Heidi..if she wants to go against her own rule of 2 yrs before moving in..then she will learn from this HUGE MISTAKE or get knocked up by Chicklet. >>LOSERVILLE

I'm not saying Heidi is blameless. I'm saying Spencer IS her manager as well as Brody's and his priorities are definitely different than hers. She'll find that out if she hasn't already. I'm gathering from the interview last night that he and Heidi ARE still together.

To all those who are wondering why Heidi wasn't there last night and to all those who assume Lauren had something to do with her not being there (i.e., Lauren not letting her come to the finale show)...did anyone ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe, Heidi had prior engagements that she could not get out of and therefore couldn't make it to the finale show last night.
Anyway, Spencer is a jackass. I hope Heidi watched that show last night and will finally realize what a player he is. And I'm glad Audrina and Lauren became roommates. I do kinda hope there is a third season of The Hills.
