you should have known this was coming. With the popularity of the primarily white Laguna beach tv show coupled with the complaints of blacks about how there were no minorities on the show despite it not being a reality of the location, it should be no surprise that MTV decided to appease the whiners and give them a show primarily about blacks. Granted, the article states that ALL races will be portrayed, but I seriously doubt that is the case. That's more of a marketing pitch than anything. Yet again, the bitching and moaning blacks are given their way. All because MTV didn't ADD a black person to the Laguna beach cast, where they make up clearly less than 1% of the population.
Ok come on now lets move on from this reality show junk- Laguna Beach was a good show for the first 2 seasons, now they are trying to run it into the ground..come on just leave it be.
^^ show is definitely what 8:16 said, an effort to appease the angray blacks who complained about there being no blacks on the Laguna beach show. Always begging for something.
Exactly but you dont see the white people complain when the blacks hold their own award ceremony, or that they have the own TV station..
i wish they'd bring remote control back. i loved that show. no underaged sex/drugs/drinking all over the place, just good old fashion question answering...
They did have one black chick in ths show. I thought she was really pretty!

notice how they show the old cast of laguna -just bring them back -the new laguna sucked! the only tiem i watched is when jessica or lc appeared !

It really is that simple. It doesn't matter what you write back - worse comments, telling them to go to hell etc. that won't stop them because you've DONE WHAT THEY WANTED. You responded. I'm not racist at all but I have been to several Laguna blogs and there are ALWAYS people that complain about the cast being all white. . . that doesn't make someone RACIST to say that people were complaining about there not being any blacks, asians or hispanics on the show. Fact is a LOT of people have complained about it, and that is probably why MTV is doing this show. They should have stopped Laguna after the 2nd season, it SUCKS now!
I dont care what she considers herself she is a black girl. when the worls sees her they see a rich black girl. no one is going to say oh let cami through she has whote in her. As long as her skin is dark and she looks like a black female she will be referred to as black and treated like any other black person in america. Just like an oreo cookie black makes up 95% of the cookie get it?

I love it when it's an all white cast. that way the show doesnt turn into a ghetto fabulous fest. Did you see that show runs house? should of been on VH1 not MTV
