I think she's really talented and she seems to have a good head on her shoulders.
She has admitted publically to having an eating disorder, but she is fully aware of it, and works to keep it under control.

She was trying to get into acting before she went on AI. Singing was her back-up.

I agree with the sentiment about acting, sort of. That movie with Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini seemed ridiculous, but it was written for them.
In the case of Jennifer Hudson and Dreamgirls, she was perfectly cast and did a great job both singing and acting. I think that Kat will do the same.
I can't think of any other AI contestants that went into movies, so your post must be a dig at Jennifer Hudson.
But if she doesn't "fall into all the normal Hollywood syndromes and begin her stint of drinking, drug usage, rehab, drugs again, rehab again then finally anorexia" we won't have anything to gossip about!!!
There are lots of actors who "devote" their lives to acting and study it, but there are many more who just "fall" into it. So all these actors who have studied acting and devoted their lives to it need to be mad at those people too not just people like Kat.

How do any of you know what she is like? Are you friends? relatives? stalkers?? She could very well be nice, she could be snob - you have no idea! As for her songs, like she writes her own stuff!! And honestly, who cares?!?! You only know about her because of AI, she is just a regular person and very well might go off the deep-end and join Lohab and Spears - YOU might do the same if in their shoes. It is all just fodder for the tabloids anyway - you wouldn't even have a place to write your comments if you didn't LOVE reading about the next juicy gossip blog.
