I don't get it... why can't they just do a DNA test & be done with it?
It's up to the Bahamian government as to whether or not DNA will be tested. The Florida court said this is out of their jurisdiction because the baby was born in the Bahamas -- that's why it's not just a matter of a DNA test at this point. If it was in the US courts, that would be the logical process, but the baby was not born in the US and the Bahamas has it's own laws for estabilishing paternity.
HKS won't allow a DNA test, because even he believes that she's Larry's child. He isn't interested in the baby, as a human, he can love, but as an investment, if he has his way, he'll have all that child's money spent before she's potty trained.
Get her away from him...far, far away.
