I just wanted to say WOW!! This blog is extremely helpful to any practitioner who shares their job with mother/fatherhood. I am a senior at Towson University and a soon-to-be mother. My husband is in the Navy and I will be the "stay-at-home" mother for the first years of our son's life. I was nervous as to how to be a parent and a career woman in this field. The strategies that you have gained from the book and shared are so impactful to a woman who is about to have a lot of "firsts" in her life: first-time mom, new wife, and first-time career woman. I never realized that the baby is just like a client. We put their needs first before we can get a desirable response. That makes a healthy relationship. Keep up with the advice!!
