It is funny how your blog gives a different impression of you.
Using your comment form, I wanted to insist on a question which you did not completely answer; other than the language requirements, is campaigning different in Quebec compared to the rest of Canada?
Your answer was that the Bloc and the NDP (???) had it easier than the Liberals and the Conservatives in Quebec.
So where was all the interest? According to some bloggers this was going to be the case of the century,Law and Order would be doing a 2 hour fictional special, all eyes on Marc Lemire...uh well other than the National Post anewspaper followers (to be expected) nothing nada. Not a word in the Globe and Mail, nothing in the Toroto Star, zilch on CBC or CTV...its just not that interesting.
One interesting aside however, seems like National Post reporter Joseph brean made a big boo boo when he suggested that David Matas of B'nai Brith gave "qualified support" to Neo-nazi Marc Lemire. Not so says Matas not even close:
"The article summarizes that "a leader of B'nai Brith Canada" has provided qualified support to white supremacist Marc Lemire. I am the only representative of B'nai Brith Canada that the article names. However, as the quotes from me in the article make clear, I have done nothing of the sort. I do not support in any way whatsoever the behaviour, the attitude, the propaganda, the criticisms of the Canadian Human Rights Commission or the legal positions of Marc Lemire."
When the Post gets it this wrong one must look at the quality of reportage on this matter altogether.

Thank you very much once again for coming out last night. It was a true pleasure to hear and see you present. I've also given some of the things you said some thought, and may post a comment here soon with my two cents regarding Obama and why, although I support him, he makes me uneasy.
