Gravatar "Notably, the hate blogs - Brock, Currie, Shaidle, McMillan et al. - have all suspended their anti-aboriginal animus long enough to rally to Ahenakew's defence, and his 'right' to call Jews a 'disease.'"

Can you point to a single post by either of these bloggers doing that? (The only one I saw on any of their blogs is one on SDA - not by Kate MacMillan - *mocking* the SFIN for reinstating Ahenakew.)

Brock: http://noncogent.blogspot.com/20...crisy- here.html

McMillan: http://www.smalldeadanimals.com/...ves/ 002323.html

Can't find the Currie one, but I did yesterday.

Remind me again why I am doing research for you, when you are perfectly capable of doing it yourself?

Gravatar Easy there, hoss. I thought you were referring to posts Brock, et al allegedly left *in response to* the SFIN reinstating Ahenakew.

I'm glad you linked to the Brock post, because it's a very good summary of my own views on this controversial subject: Ahenakew is a sad, disgusting little man, who deserves every bit of condemnation that came his way when he told us all what he thinks about the Jews. But does he deserve to be *prosecuted* for it by the State? Brock doesn't think he should, and neither do I. The Saskatchewan Court of Appeal was wary of the criminal prosecution, too.

Gravatar And, yes, thinking back on it, I should have waited for a response from you before posting it to my site. My apologies for jumping the gun.

Gravatar Ahenakew is a malicious little racist fool, who deserves all the condemnation civil society can heap upon him - being stripped of the Order of Canada, all of that. He, however, does not deserve criminal charges to be pressed against him - free speech is a right, even for the stupid, and criminal sanction of it is unconscionable in a free society so far as I'm concerned.
