I am shocked that you need a poll to tell you this is uanacceptable - but more shocked that 40% of the current 10 respondents think it's enough!!!!
I guess that is why customer service in this ocuntry is so appalling - companies get away with things like this because some people have such low expectations.

They have treated you badly - and it's not an isolated happening.
You deserve compensation for the hassle you've had.
If they're a business with a future they'll thank you for pointing out how shit their communications are.

Teach um a lesson.
1 months payment doesnt come anywhere close to the agrovation its caused you.
get a full refund and a decent laptop.
