If you ask me they used a pretext for starting the shite to. Isn't it odd how hardly any soldiers have been kidnapped before then all of a sudden three get kidnapped at once! It's all bullshit mate. They just want to stop Iran aving the nuclear capability that they already have. F*cking hypocrites! And Hezbollah were democractically elected! And, I think another reason they are blowing everything up in Lebanon is because they dont want it to be viable! You know they cant stand having a rival that is capable of standing up to them.
They have been doing the same in Palestine - it's an excuse for occupation. They tell them to deal with the terrorists after destroying their infrastructure and handicapping them to the extent that they can't actually run their own country and then this ineffectiveness gives Israel an excuse to continue occupying. If it wasn't so legally and morally wrong I'd say it was bloody genius!
A couple of points. Hamas were democratically-elected by the genocidal Palestinians, that's true. Hezbollah are a private terrorist militia.
As for Palestine, there have been three historical opportunities to implement a two state solution, and the Pals rejected them all - most recently in 2000. That they still don't have their own state is their choice. Blame Arafat.
They, Hezbollah and Hamas all want to destroy Israel and drive the Jews into the sea. If the Arabs put down their guns, there will be peace. If the Israelis put down theirs, there will be genocide.
I am disappointed to find two such usually sound bloggers exchanging such views.

The news is all talking about the Isreali's having broken the ceasefire already. Of course, they describe it as self-defence which I'm starting to think is Hebrew for "war crimes".
