Thousands have been killed but not many in the last 100 years, its all about money and votes.
The ban will be a total wast of time.
I'm pretty sure its only somethings like 40 in the last 4 years, but from my understanding knives aren't going to be banned but if you were goin to take a weapon out then you'll probably take something small and easy to hide like a knife instead of a sword. what makes me laugh is it is only cheap imitation samurai swords that are being banned which in most cases are only for show and will not take much to break. It says that the more expensive ones made by swordsmiths in japan will be legal for collectors and martial artists but not all martial artists can afford a proper one from japan and may only be getting started out so may only want a cheap one to see if they like it before going out and spending a couple of grand on one from japan. Also what the government didnt take into account is that from many martial arts shops online and in highstreets you will still be able to buy other types of swords, surely of the criminals are only buying cheap display samurai swords that would break fairly quickly they wouldn't mind buying a sword from a different martial art. i dont think that the government thought this through properly.
why are you banning swords many people collect them as it is part of there lives if a person was willing to kill someone they would take out a knife not a great big sword use your brain a bit its not that hard

the guy who made the ban should hit himself over the head with something heavy e.g a hammer, chair, table or even a caravan
swords for ever if you stop selling them people will just start making them derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
