If you look at article 3 of the latest resolution, it forbids the shipping of arms to hezbollah, unfortunately just like the previous U.N resolution, this was not implemented therefore Israel reserves the right to act in such cases.

Israel in fact only occupied Lebanon because of terror, if there was no terror there would be no occupation. Maybe you should direct your anger at China for illegally occupying Tibet and replaing the Tibetans with majority Han Chinese,why not become a human shield out there or even in the Sudan where 2 million christians have been killed then again China is to big and non democratic and Sudan very similar.

I disagree with China's occupation of Tibet as well and I've posted about it before. Israel attacked Lebanon out of spite and agression, it wasn't about doing away with Hezabollah. They could be in Lebanon for a hundred years and Hezbollah would get stronger. They attacked Lebanon because Hezbollah embarassed them and the Israeli government needed to do something to show the Israeli citizens that they were in control.

Don't you think Israel is being hypocrticial warning Syria to respect Lebanon's sovereignty while they are still occupying it?

It was the Israeli government that said Syria should respect Lebanon's sovereignty. While they are illegally occupying Lebanon, it is hypocritical to tell another country to respect Lebanon's sovereignty.

Your example re Scotland doesn't even make sense, it's not even the same scenario. If the EU was supplying SNP militants rockets and they were firing them into England and then England invaded Scotland in retaliation and whilst England was still occupying England, the English government told the EU to respect Scotland's sovereignty then that would be the same situation.

Perhaps you should read the story before you put your fingers on the keyboard?
