Gravatar So sweet! And her hair is getting long, too.

Gravatar the dimples still kill me. What a cutie! Keep up with the sign language, that is a fantastic skill even if it isn't her primary method of communication in the future.

Gravatar Woo Hoo!

Gravatar Very impressive! I just can't believe how big she's getting. She's barely a baby any more!

Gravatar Such a smart girl. She's adorable!

Gravatar Are you signing to her while saying the words? She's doing so well!

Gravatar WOW! That took her NO time to learn! Brilliant child! And gorgeous tooo...

Gravatar Very very impressive! And she is such a beautiful kid, too.

Gravatar Hooray for WB!!

Gravatar She is darling! SO intelligent! I can not believe how much WB has grown! My DS(18 months) loved watching her-- he really was thrilled(jumping up and down) when she acquired her cup!

Gravatar Yeah for baby sign! My daughter's hearing is just fine, but we signed with her from birth. She's a real chatterbox now (at 2.5years) but sometimes she will still sign to really get her point across. It's almost like a very soft version of yelling.

It's also great to be able to sign to your children or husband across a crowded room. It's much better than yelling across a table, I'm going to go to the bathroom now, excuse me please, the signing is much more discrete.

Keep it up!

Gravatar Oh my goodness, that was so adorable I can't stand it. We always did baby signing with our kids -- I found it avoided those I-can't-communicate frustration breakdowns. Our little one is 10 months and I'm just trying 'more,' 'milk' (breastfeeding),'eat,' and 'book' with her at the moment. So far when she wants to nurse she just waves her hand around willy-nilly but its a start!

Gravatar Awww!! She's doing a great job!!

Gravatar We taught both the boys baby signs (Aaron took to it more than Everett). But the thing I found worked the best is what you're doing at TJ's--teaching them signs for what THEY want to talk about rather than just eat/drink/diaper/etc.
Both boys' first sign was "bird" because they loved to see the birdfeeders in the backyard. Aaron was off and running after that.
Good luck--it looks like she's doing so well already!
