LOL this guys is a complete idiot.
But it's good he is alive because he makes certain "typical" people feel good and secure.
Typical= People who don't, can't, or won't think.
What I want to know is are white people really afraid of the Jeremiah Wrights words? I don't think they are but what do I know.
And can you actually equate what Jeremiah Wright said to the history of the KKK and what they represent? I beleive you can if you really really stretch it oh and you can't think of nothing else to sling at a political opponent.

White people are not afraid of Wright's words. They are just bothered by what they represent. They represent an unthinking hatred of America and manifest the paranoid thinking that infests the black community. Wright is what people hate to see: a stereotype.
Most of all people can not understand what he is so angry about. The man is building a one million dollar home and has had opportunities that he could not hope to dream of in any other nation. If that is the wages of racism where do I sign up to be hated?
America has been good to Wright and to millions of blacks. Only 13% of blacks live in poverty. Black culture is often the defacto word for popular culture in America. Blacks have prospered in America while their relatives in Africa still live in mud huts and are menaced by lions. Disagreeing with your country is one thing, but the sheer dislike that he manifests is absurd. We are so blessed in this country and people like Wright do not seem to care. They, and for the most part all liberals, have let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
Sowell never compared Wright to the Klan. He was merely making a point that such an argument would never be used as a way to excuse Klan memebers. Wright is the one who throws the Klan around when he is speaking.
Sowell has written some of the best economic works of the 20th century. He is devoted to thinking, not to the dogma and knee jerk reactions to anyone who disagrees with you which abound in your arguments. You seem to think that an angry black man must have a point. Maybe he is just a nut.

Didn't say he wasn't a nut
I beleive he is a nut and I also believe he was just putting on a show and not at all serious.
The only reason he was brought into the limelight was to try and take down Obama not to make any point about people hating america lol we both know this.
And what is wrong with living in mud huts? Hell it's worked for thousands of years. Not saying I would want to live in one however.

I like to think your last few posts have been inspired by a nice 3 hour class of Carson.
The only thing funnier than listening to him, is watching your reaction to it.

Great article by Sowell. I've just been looking at his "Classical Economics Reconsidered" and I used his "Conquest and Culture" in a class this past semester. Great intellect, and of course makes verbal minced meat out of the allegedly (by the media and the swooning ladies) silver-tongued Obama...
