I think it is significant that one of the defendants plead no contest to a charge of failing to report hazing. This should put every one of our brethren on notice that you can't just turn a "blind eye" to hazing. Either you have to stop it, report it, or risk criminal prosectution (at least in Texas) and civil liability.

I think some of the defendants were investment advisors in New York. This professiion requires a license from the Securities and Exchange Commision - like a Series 7 and 66. A criminal record may bar them from licensing. If this is the case, their careers, in the investment field, are over.
