Legal vs. Ethical
As I described in commentary on similar issues posted at Sanguine et Purpure, there is a difference between legal and ethical.
When I was president of the American Institute of Chemists (AIC) eleven years ago, one of the “association professionals” on the staff proposed a resolution to a fiscal issue with which the AIC was dealing. A member of the Board of Directors criticized the staff member’s suggested approach, pointing out that he did not believe it was ethical. The staff member replied, “I don’t care whether or not it’s ethical, I need to know if it’s legal.”
Following the Board meeting, I went to the staff member’s office and fired her on the spot.

There we go, my alma mater leading the way in banning this site, which I, personally feel to be garbage.
While a person is smart, people are dumb. Giving students (for all intents and purposes, kids) an anonymous forum to talk trash is simply NOT a good idea in the lng run for anyone, let alone organizations.

I must admit that I visit the site a lot - not to post but to check if anyone has written any crap about me or any of the girls I know! Do you know the site has been officially subpoenaed by the Office of the Attorney General and the Division of Consumer Affairs?
