Enrique Esparza, was the son of Gregorio, the only defender to get a Christian burial. He was buried because his brother served Santa Anna at the battle of the Alamo
Brigido Guerrero convinced Santa Anna that he had been forced to fight against his will and was spared, he served with honor under Seguin at San Jacinto
Juan Nepomuceno Seguin was ordered away from the Alamo to carry a message to Houston. He protested the order but was forced to follow orders.
He let a company of Tejanos at San Jacinto. When told by Houston that because his men looked like the enemy and thus they may be shot by accident, Sequin decided to identify themselves by putting a playing card in their hats.

Luke,
Thanks for stopping by and I already have it- look at the LINKS section to the right and it is titled Roswell, Texas.
You might try H. Beam Piper's "Lone Start Planet" and the text can be found at Project Gutenberg here:

Better yet, do yourself a favor and buy a copy for your bookshelf- you will not be disappointed.

Mr. Sharkey has pointed me toward several new books on the Alamo. Some are less than kind to Houston and his politics regarding the Alamo defenders. Also the Yellow Rose, Emily Morgan was not a slave, but an indentured servant. Morgan was not her last name, but the name of the man who held her contract. Too many have over-looked the participation of the Tejanos. They started the movement for separation long before the 1835 revolution.
