Just John's Scribblings

Gravatar It's small consolation that she ended up getting a lot of support from conservatives..but you'll never hear about it in the MSM.

I surely hope more people will start speaking up before saying anything outside the party line is outlawed.

The new anti cyber bullying legislation might do just that.

Gravatar I read an article written by Laura Baron (no idea who she is) that belittled and mocked Carrie Prejean. Currently, there are 1470 comments; the majority of which handed Laura Baron a severe ass whoopin'.

As more folks learn to navigate the internet, they are speaking out with little fear of consequenses.

I totally agree with your opinion.

Gravatar Hammer: It's certainly getting a little Orwellian, isn't it?

Gawfer: Thanks. My, or your, view on homosexual marriage aside, it's pretty bad when your mere opinion (which happens to be supported by the majority of folks) garners such a harsh response from the rabid left.

Gravatar The left has always been hypocritical. The Miss California debacle is a GREAT example.

Also, think about the fairness doctrine. The Democrats have always tried to get the practices of this doctrine going to silence (or at least heavily censor) the voice of Conservative talk radio.

Of course Liberals and Democrats have been pushing this HEAVY. Now, if the roles were reversed and it was the Conservatives who wanted to bring in the censorship doctrine than the libs would be CRYING CENSORSHIP.

Libocrits is what I like to call them.
