Just John's Scribblings

Well now, Gunny, I could start out by suggesting that the wording is incorrect -- the verbiage says "how stupid YOU are" and I am certainly NOT stupid! (although I have done MANY foolish and seemingly stupid things in my past)
But I would also say the spelling of "its" is incorrect -- I believe it should be "it's" as a contraction of "it is" and not a possessive.
I also think the "dumb bunny's" whiskers look as if they are attached to the back (or side) of the head and not next to the nose.

I'm going with the lack of an apostrophe. Seems nowadays that when it's needed, they don't use it, and when it is NOT needed, they put it in...
If the same gentleman was involved in all of your examples, then it's not a momentary lapse so much as a way of life.
If each incident was a separate person, then I'll go with momentary lapse.
In the case of the green t-shirt, I'm putting money on an officer that was auditing the course!

Amazing that someone could get that far and still screw up like that.

It really is amazing Hammer. One would think that people that stupid would be chosen for de-selection (bus, fast moving truck, self-inflicted gunshot wound, etc), but it's not to be.

I vote for the "It's" mistake, and I'm really not surprised at all by the "green" thing. So many of my husband's stories about the people he worked with in the Marine Corps include the statement, "He really was a smart guy... most of the time."

Yep; I was focusing on the "Its." The point about the whiskers is a keen observation as well, Joe.
