I found your blog through a comment that you left on her blog.  And, I am very happy to find you.<br><br>What a long battle you've had with your knee! And from your history even I can see why your surgeon didn't take the graft from your own patella. Holy cow! You dislocated your knee cap AND tore the tendon?  How painful!<br><br>I wish you nothing but the best in your recovery. I wrote a paper on ACL reconstruction (many years ago) and gave a copy to my Dentist, who had torn his the year before.  He had the surgery and has gone on to run many, many, marathons.  I was able to cheer him on at the Pittsburgh Marathon one year.
