I had a mixer just like that when I was married! Honestly, it's one of about three things that I really miss.

I used to make bread pretty frequently. Bread and pizza dough. Cookie dough was always a bit trickier as I tended to eat more than I baked. When I got done, I had about 12 really burnt cookies and a terrible stomachache. I could never seem to pay any attention to how much I was putting in my mouth or how long I was leaving the rest in the oven.

I find that blogging can sometimes be easier than others. It seems like the more I have to get off my chest, the less I can spit out. I edit myself right out of posting a lot of times. I just deleted several unfinished posts from my draft folder. All of them basically said... interviewing is making me nuts, traveling is making me tired, whine, whine, whine. I bet you're sorry you missed those, eh?

That said, though, I'm really glad you're back. I love this "sated and happy" post.
