Using the Chick cartoon interspersed throughout your entry was very effective. It counteracted my tendency to think, "Oh, anti-evolution fundamentalists. How quaint!" There's nothing quaint or charmingly anachronistic about it, is there?
If there's a ray of light in this, it's that the anti-evolution movement seems to have very little foothold outside of the USA. Cold comfort, I know.
