Hey Mark!!
How's it been going? I trust and pray life has been treating you well. I sure hope so.
It just came to me to visit your site this morning...and it looks like just in time to catch a recent item.
I see not much as changed in the moderate liberal point of view...lol. Still illogical and still promoting the silly rantings of a failed man. Clark knows as much about "leadership" as I know about pool cards...but a person shouldn't have to know about leadership to recognize BS as clear as what Clark dispenses.
In the meantime, how many successes has Bush enjoyed since we've last met? What's the state of the economy right now?
So..lol...as you can see, not much has changed in this "true liberal's" point of view either. Seems we both are intent on "staying the course"!
It's good to see you again Mark.

Accomplishments? Your joking, right?
Yea, I guess we now have a robust economy, at least as those big ol' stock and GDP type numbers go. Good time to be rich, I guess.
But seriously, if you aren't embarrassed by your president after this week your head is seriously up your... eh... well, someplace really dark where you can't actually see what is going on around you.

Mark,
Thanks for dropping by my site and commenting.
Well, if you drop back again you'll see some of the reasons why (I think) your opinion about Bush isn't shared by all.
here
As a case in point, the last link you reference is a prime example of lacking context. Actually Mr Drum's remark was remarkably dumb itself (a point which I belabored in too much detail last week.).

Oh, I know that opinion isn't shared by all. I'm still fairly certain that 50 years from now Bush will be known as one of the worst presidents ever. I actually liked his father, so it isn't like I'm the huge partisan, I just think the incompetence of this guy and the government he runs speaks for itself.
Before the hurricane struck all my wife and I talked about was how New Orleans was probably going to be wiped out by this storm, how it was below sea level and how it would probably flood. I realize that "the levees breaching" is fairly specific and Bush may technically correct (though I don't think so) but it really doesn't matter. Virtually everyone was expecting roughly this catastrophe.

I left a comment at your dumb and dumber post but it was detected as 'spam'.
Got to say, though, the "dumb and dumber" post was pretty, well, dumb. Here is what I tried to say:
Ok, in this post you live up to the "pseudo" portion of your name. Bush's statement was dumb because it was known risk and by the time he made that statement it was clear to everyone it was a known risk. Those levees were only designed to handle a category three. Your attempt to switch the comment to imply Bush should have done something about the levees the day before the hurricane hit is purely a straw-man argument.

Hey Mark,
You know, my friend...I'm hoping to see much more of your stuff here.
You've earned a ton of credit in my book with the article you wrote about (RATS...can't find it right now on my site...buried under junk...lol)...anyway...about let's please not pray for the end of time to come.
I dropped in today (and I will more often, if you don't mind because I was considering mentioning your site in a little piece I was working on---I'll let you know if I ever get it complete.
Mark...I've come to appreciate opposing arguments even more than I used to. They are a great way to keep your senses honed. Take, for instance...oh, the Republican Party. They HAVE to be sharp and almost completely spotless...they're facing a constantly hypercritical press that keeps them on their toes and ensures only the very best get through them! The Dem's, on the other hand, get a virtual free pass to say and do as they please---and they wind up with idiots like Schumer, Pelosi, T. Kennedy, and Reid.
The Economy??? Oh come on Mark...for WHATEVER reason you want to give...you've got to admit the economy is doing very well! You're not gonna go deep sea pearl diving for bad news just to support your opinion that the President is doing a lousy job are you?...lol. What do you make of the numbers below?
Now...Mark, if you'll pardon me, I've obviously got a little business to attend to on your site...lol. Sorry if I take your blog to the gutter a little bit, but, I swear, it is just too much fun to resist. I do wish you well in all the well you wish to do.

Heeeeey Crank!!!!!
Good to see ya man! Chased me off?!?! I thought I was invited! You go about "chasing off" guests now do ya? So much for inclusiveness, huh?
Shucks...now I feel a little less invited...lol. And here I thought I'd quit visiting because it was like fishing in a rain barrel...you could hook 'em, filet 'em, and fry 'em before then even knew the hook was set...lol...no fun in that!
You still got the "hey batter, batter, batter" parrot guy squawking from the sidelines?
How about the "Pearls" lady? She still stringing pearls of BS out of thin air? Pearls indeed...lol.
If I'm still invited...I'll visit your site again...but you could understand why, after reading this post, that I might need some assurance that I'm still welcome. Just leave an invite here...or over at rowanreview.com---the door is always open there and we have yet to "chase" anyone off.

I won't comment until I get that invite...might not even visit the blog...don't know for sure yet.
