Out of interest, I've heard of this virus being able to do its business on wireless networks, where the DHCP server is located on the access point itself. This seems odd to me, since it's unlikely that a rogue DHCP server located on the wireless network would be able to beat the response of the access point's DHCP server when the access point is going to be 'closer' to clients on the network.
Can anybody comment on how DNSChanger manages to pull this off?
