I am going to work too. My students need me more than the boycott does. We are two weeks away from state testing. I am torn but feel that school is where I am needed most! I will wear white and not shop that day though!

i'm also teaching on monday. i had my reseravations, but it's the last week of school, and my students are doing group presentations. i canceled class on april 10th, but we don't have any more days to "make up."
anyway. i do plan on participating in the economic boycott that day...

I've spoken to other teachers who are conflicted too. My roommate decided to skip the first day of B-track when she was inspired by her mom. I don't have class but do have a part time job and am scheduled to be there on Monday. I pretty much decided today that I'll be at the march in Downtown LA and won't be buying anything.

I can see how you can be conflicted. I'm sure you'll end up picking the solution you are confortable with.
