Who am I neglecting? Me, but you already know that.
This piece spoke volumes to me, I really felt I related to it an d it made me gather my thoughts and I think there is a haunting element to those of us who suddendly withdraw from those around us sometiems they dont even see it happening, sometimes we dont see it occuring either!

aaah, When my friend Richard sent me your link, it sat in my inbox for several weeks. Then my eyes fell on this site felt the same as Mike Malon - neglect? yes, undernourished, and as a male nurse, at a Hospice, seeing so many who seem to have lived the terror of self-neglect, when they were focused on others almost controlling and theseare not those who are patients but their relatives, who seem to handle the slow passing away of their loved ones with fear - understandablebut also often misplaced - self blame. This story showshow easy it is to start to fall and continue falling. Have written more than intended but you understand.
