if that's true then its GOOD NEWS karwan. I voted for Allawi Iraqi list but Ive read some news which points that the kurdish alliance wants to join with the 169 list. I don't know why they would do that because I remember the shias arguing against federalism

I think that the Kurdish list in the end will join with whoever agrees to regional federation and with kirkuks status as kurdistani.

Politics is about arguing over things various people have different strong opinions about.
Expect massive arguments, haggling, shifting alliances and coalitions, walkouts, accusations, sulking, etc etc. In other words, multi-party democracy.
As for federalism vs full independence, it might pay to check out how much independence the states have in India. I think it is quite a lot. The Federal government in the US probably has too much power.

While individual states in India have relatively strong autinomy within their federal framework, it is hard to compare these countries as overall while indians speak a variety of languages they still consider themselves to be indian, this is again trues of americans. The same cannot be said for kurds, as we kurds are part of a nation which has been divided over numerous states, for example the arabs in Iraq are obsessed with the israle palestinian problems while we kurds care about our fellow kurds who live in Iran and syria and turkey.
