I a gree it is not kurdish joke ,but many parts of the world or people in diffrent parts they modify jokes,proverbs or even simple effictive say to convey a message to suit their local consumtion ,it is not new !
You missed probably the contest of what Mam Jalal ,he is trying to say and portray ...the Kurds free people ,and nothing will deny them that not even death !
I agree it is a bad choice and no need for it ..as he could help Kurd and Kurdistan more by being a bit quite and choose carefuly what he says ..minimum of bubbles ,even light hearted ones-as no time for it now (as the English say goes it is not what you do ,but how you do it and at what time !)otherwise any flash in the pan might back fire ,and cause harm more than good !even in good intention !
Back paddling mentality by any politician undesired and should be avoided ,simply we could do without now at this crucial time of our history !
If Mam really wanted to make the Kurds dream come through he had the chance between 1994 to 2003 in his area to declare at least the rule of law and create a semi-democratic system with elected parliament and civil society. It could be a sample of what he had in his dream. As he put it always, "I am a lawer I know", But he only wanted the chair and he has got it now. We all just helped him to get there. GOD Bless the People of Kurdistan, they are so good to cry a century later.
