And I would love to see how big the little guy is getting. It must be really nice to stop working on this blog and go play with him! Kids are a lot of fun, which is why I work with them (well, most of the time they are a lot of fun).

Google news had nothing about seven US troops being killed yesterday, neither did WaPo, and NYT mentioned three deaths as part of an article about Sadr. I think this is very weird how they are ignoring US troops deaths.
Yes Veterans Against the War is a very good org! And yes there's a lot of disinformation about what's going on in Iraq especially with our casualties.
on thinking some more, I would in general say that we should not link to anyone or any organization that supports the continuation of this war..... I don't know if the particular link we have been talking about does - I deleted the email and don't have time to read it - but if anyone is still supporting the continuation of this war and occupation, then they are dumb as a rock.
And whether they are hurting or not is irrelevant - we should not link to dumb as a rock stuff without clearly labeling it as such.
I am going to start linking to A Pakistan News - maybe someone with more computer smarts than me can tell the IP address and if there are any matches in our comments section?? Don't know if that can be done, but if it can, it would be very helpful.

Basra, Apr 7, (VOI) - Two senior army officers were wounded when a roadside bomb went off near an Iraqi army convoy in northern Basra, an Iraqi army source said on Monday.
