I agree, a heel flap is the best kind of heel. I'm finding afterthought heels are not so bad, though.

okay that's just torture. too cold! glad to hear otis is doing better! i'd keep that collar on as long as i needed to...don't want another surgery. has it kept him from getting at his tail?
I did forget to ask yesterday how the pups were doing. Payton, my Dane, runs around like crazy (two laps), then is at the back door with paws held up.
We may have to try booties for the already sweater clad shamus - he has decided it is WAY too cold to poop outside.

I found another etsy shop I really like the handdyed fibers from, and they are pretty inexpensive. I just got a few things from her (ordered after I had spun the first stuff) and I really really recommend the falkland. Tons of fun and easy to spin.

Awww, doggie booties! so far my girls are going right out, doing the business and running back in, but we don't have snow right now (and while it is freezing cold, it isn't quite what you are dealing with!)
