It sure does seem that way. If it had been members of my family, I would want them released (of if they were deceased, I would want their remains back). For the security of Israel itself, I don't see how this makes the nation any safer or more secure. This will embolden the terrorists. Anytime they need a bargaining chip with Israel, they will kidnap some soldiers (it doesn't matter to them whether they die or not). Israel is not going to come out of this in a good way.
