Oh I don't know, it doesn't sound all that bad. At least the people are friendly, what with knocking on windows to say hello at all hours, and all. I wonder if the person who put these signs up is still alive!!
I lived in a ground-floor flat once, with a window on to the street, just down the road from a couple of nightclubs. I lost count of how many times I had to lie in bed listening to couples (of varying gender combinations) who'd decided my windowsill was the best place to have an argument.
