We would have won that game soul, given fully uninterupted play. McGrath has the wood on your openers- by the time the Tests begin the momentum will be fully with us, mark my words. You haven't seen the best of Gilchrist yet.

Your guys don't like fast bowling much though do they? Could be interesting. At least Strauss hit four fours in an over before getting out. Classy strokes they were too.

I'll take Strauss hitting a few fours before succumbing in the Tests. I pretty much reckon McGrath has his measure, as well as Dizzy has Tresco in his top pocket. Your media seem to have pretty much picked Pietersen over Thorpe. Suit us sir. Any side with Thorpe adds steel to your line up. Pietersen ? Pretty much a Punt- never know if he comes off or not. I await with eager anticipation.

Doubt it very much. Thorpe will be there, for all the reasons you've just said. But as you say, we do need something of an opening partnership.
Good result against Bangladesh today, you managed to beat them (just)

Never in doubt. Clarkie is the new Tyro on the block. You might just see some more of him in the Tests. Plus old Warnie of course- our trump card in waiting. Then the contest begins.
