That's ok. I recently went into a Motorcycle shop that I hadn't been into in a long while and where in the past I had turned much money into noise, and said "Hi," to the owner who asked how I'd been and what I'd been up to. When I ruefully said I hadn't been riding much lately he told me the same thing, "That's all right" - so blog what you want to blog, it's all blog-salad and blog-stew, and for fermenters, it's blog-brew.

Well! Happy Blogaversary then. I usually learn something new here at your place Zendo Deb. I especially appreciate your advocacy of self-defense for women.
I'm glad to see you decided to keep sharing your time with the world in the form of your excellent blog. I read it several times per week. It was one of the first like-minded blogs I encountered since starting my own. I clicked through the "Next blog" button on the blogger toolbar until I found it one day and have been hooked ever since. To be honest, your example of faithfully posting regularly is one of the reasons I make a point of trying to post at least every week. After a few months of posting almost daily, I quickly discovered I didn't have the time to be a prolific blogger and keep the rest of my affairs in order, but seeing people like you post such good articles so often kept me from throwing in the towel. I figure if you and some of my other favorite bloggers can do so much, I can at least manage a couple of articles a week. I think this sort of blogging is a kind of public service in that it lets like-minded readers see that there are others out there who share their ideas and values and that they are not alone in their political and moral beliefs.

You are an important part of our blogger community, Zendo. I especially value your comments on my blog. It certainly is not clear that we have to blog daily, but your insight will be missed if you give it up totally.
