Mike. You have never seen Battlestar Galactica. I have seen the whole first season of Lost. How do you know Lost is better? I have seen them both and I say Battlestar is better. Lost is good. Real good. So, you need to revise your statement. Lost is the best show that you have seen on TV.

They showed the first 10 episodes of season 2 last thurs. on sci-fi. I watched most of them and then watched the new episode fri. nite!!!! I'm hooked!!!! I remember watching the old Battlestar Galatica in the 80's. But of course I'm old though.

I used to watch the 80's stuff. It was allright. Nothing special. If this new version follows the same type of storylines, I probably would think the same.

First of all, Mike, is was the 70's stuff. For its day it was pretty revolutionary. The expense to produce the show had alot to do with its cancelation. It was the highest budgeted show in its day. Secondly, though similar in some aspects, the new show barely resembles the original. Even though it is on the Suck Fi channel (Sci Fi) it is not the same lame science fiction that you typically see on the Suck Fi. The New Battlestar Galactica has real meat and real substance. The writting is phenominal and they have excellent actors and directors. Science Fiction does not get #1 show by Time magazine. Sci Fi doesn't get anything, but BG did it. That says something.

By the way, I am caught up on season 2 of Lost. It is still good, but is having some continuity issues. Will comment on later.
