Now Michael, thats not nice. You make the relationship sound cheap. Trevor had the pizzazz to attract this nice sweet young lady. Just because she is in a lucrative profession had nothing to do with it. Right??? Anyways, I think Trev will do just fine at this endeavor. That way he will be all practiced up when he comes home. And yes, it is nice sleeping at night all the time. I just haven't started sleeping well yet after 20+ years of working nights. But I'm trying.
Trevor I surely hope Amanda's lucrative employment isn't an issue for you, or it isn't made an issue. I however believe that this will keep cropping up. Find a good comeback..then laugh.

I'm surprised you lasted so long in night security...I don't think I'd be able to keep myself going year after year. I will always have fond memories of star wars and the sci-fi channel and nintendo though... good times. Good luck with your new venture!

Exactly my point, Trevor. But, if she didn't have such a good job, would you be able to afford to do this? Cause when you first start out, it'll probably be slow for you at first. But once you build up a reputation and a name for yourself, then more and more jobs will come your way.

I am partnering with my mentor. Right now I ride on his reputation, but I have enough stuff on my own to keep me busy. Look around when you drive to or from work. Someone is always building or remodeling something. I just have to do a good job.

WOW, i haven't seen to many handy men/remolders or whatever it is you are calling yourself make that much money...who lied to you and told you would make as much as your wife???cause you need to slap them in the face for getting your hopes up!!!not that you can't make a decent livin...but you are correct, look around somebody is building or remodeling...competition...

Looney, I do not know what remodelers you have seen. But, charging $15 an hour seems like pretty good money. It will go up as I get better.
That does sound good Trev! I think what Looney was referring to was the amount of work. Like most businesses, you'll have busy times, and you'll have down times.
But knowing you and the kind of guy you are, you'll get a good reputation and should do a pretty good job. If you make it on time 
Good luck with the $15 dollars and hour...i'm just saying how many wealthy remolders have you seen out there...i don't know any...or even "well" off...and i know a lot guys who do construction...they dable in remolding on the side, but that is definetly not where the money is at...but if you can make a go at it, then more power to ya bro...i'm stoked for ya that you don't have to do this night crap...its sucks...
