Okay, so I actually watched some of the original inspiration for "Trapped in the Drivethru"--it's amazingly bad. So horribly written. Weird Al isn't parodying anything, he's just straight-up copying the writing style of the original. It's just that bad. Doesn't rhyme, doesn't make sense, the meter changes with practically every line.

OK Trev and Dave, I have an announcement. Back when the earth was young and me too, I used to be a voracious reader. SciFi, history, theology, it all got hit hard. The last several years has been very vacant in the reading catagory besides periodicals of a significant hobby I have. In the last month I have read 2, yes 2 books. Knebel and Bailey's "Seven Days in May" and Hemmingway's "Farewell to Arms". Whatcha think of that?? Now Trevor, have a copy of "For Whom the Bell Tolls"? I seem to be on a Hemmingway kick.

Okay, another BSG update.

I finished watching all three seasons that are on DVD. And "Razor" is actually in my mailbox waiting for me. But I couldn't wait any longer for SciFi to start showing reruns, so I found a website that has Season 4 episodes. I'm sure that's totally legal. (ahem.)

But I'm two episodes into Season 4, and holy crap, Six just had half of the Council whacked, Godfather-style. FRAKKING. AWESOME.

If your offer is still on the table, you would be most welcome to come down for the series finale.

OH! And I'm moving this month. Nicer place, bigger floorplan, on the north side of town, down the road from church. Means I'll be riding the bus/train to work, but it will be worth it. I hope.
